Health Center
Springdale International School is designed to promote the health and safety of our children, staff, and community at large.
The role of the Health Center is to get to know the health records of the community and engage with their primary health care specialist or family doctors. We keep track of allergies and other conditions in mind and collaborate with the academics team and the cook to ensure a safe and a hygienic environment is provided for all. We run health awareness programs for the community as well such as First Aide, Safety Drills, Over the Counter vs. Prescribed drugs safety workshop, etc. All of our teachers are first aide certified.
The health center has a sick bay with two beds, a temperature station, and over the counter medicine stock when needed. With the current pandemic in mind, our sick bay is well-ventilated where children/staff feeling unwell or with any outwardly symptoms of illness can be quickly isolated while parents and staff decide on the best course of action.
During an emergency, the health center will communicate with the parents and take children to the nearest Hospital’s emergency section.
